HIGH SCHOOL: Selected to Florida[apos]s 6A All-State first team by the Florida Sportswriters Association as a senior in 2001. A three-time All-Dade County choice, including first team as a senior. One of the Orlando Sentinel[apos]s Dandy Dozen linebackers. Career totals include 337 tackles, 24 sacks, 14 fumbles recovered and five interceptions. As a senior, totaled 175 tackles, caused four fumbles, recovered eight fumbles and compiled 10 quarterback sacks. His junior season, credited with 114 tackles and eight sacks. Picked off two passes, recovered four fumbles and forced four. Team went 9-3 his senior year and advanced to the second round of the playoffs under Coach Andrew Brown. Also played basketball and ran track. Named MVP of the basketball team as a junior. Earned Most Improved Award in track. Member of the school[apos]s Honor Roll.
