2014: Played in two games as a redshirt-sophomore…was 10-for-26 (.384) for 111 yards (11.1 avg.) while rushing five times for 24 yards (4.8 avg.)…completed 4-of-11 passes for 58 yards and ran once for a seven- yard gain vs Georgia Tech (9/6)…added 53 yards on 6-of-15 passing while running for 17 yards at Rutgers (9/27).

2013: Saw action in eight games with a pair of starts as a sophomore...finished second on the team in pass attempts (110), completions (60), passing yards (681) and touchdown passes (5) while ranking third in yards of total offense (668)...named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after posting career highs with 23 completions on 39 attempts (.589) for 224 yards and two touchdowns vs East Carolina (10/12)...added a 223-yard performance on 10-of-21 passing vs Louisiana-Lafayette in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (12/21)...completed 17-of-29 passes (.586) for 164 yards and two touchdowns vs Tulsa (10/26)...added a 4-of-6 performance (.667) for 34 yards and a score vs UTEP (11/23).
