1999: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of Country Day School in Metairie, La., where he lettered in football, track and soccer. A four-year starter at both tight end and defensive end. Earned 1998 district MVP award after catching 12 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns offensively and having 64 tackles and two sacks defensively. Two-time all-parish and all-metro as both a tight end and defensive end. Helped his team to a pair of district championships. Coached by Richard Wood.
PERSONAL: Timothy Edward Pinter. Born May 16, 1980. The son of Karl and Judy Pinter. Majoring in humanities. Earned a space on the 1999-2000 Conference USA Commisioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll.
