2000: Played in all 11 games, including 10 starts at center for the Wave. Graded out at 84 percent on the season, playing 855 of 897 (95 percent) of the team[apos]s plays. Posted 12 knockdown blocks, while allowing just one quarterback pressure and no sacks.
1999: Played in 11 games, including 10 starts. One of the anchors of the offensive line.
1998: Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team. Played in all 12 games as a backup center. Also played in the backfield as an extra blocker in short-yardage situations.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School in New Orleans. A two-time all-state selection in Class 5A. Also a two-time all-district and all-metro selection. Member of the Times-Picayune Blue Chip list. One of eight centers selected to the Max Emfinger All-America team. Rated as the No. 6 center nationally by National Recruiting Advisor. First-team all-state selection by Louisiana Football. Started 38 consecutive games over final three seasons under coach Hank Tierney. The top blocker for an offense that gained 5,921 yards in 14 games, including 300 yards per game rushing, in 1997.
