2003: Redshirted the season.
2002: Tulane[apos]s starter in nine games at strong-side linebacker. Tied for seventh on the team with 64 tackles, including 39 solo takedowns, while playing in all 13 games. Recorded a pair of double-digit tackle games with a career-high 13 (five solo) against Texas (9/28) and 12 (season-best seven solo) against Navy (10/26). Credited with his only pass break up of the year in the Navy game. Added seven tackles, six of those solo, against Army (10/16). Had a 17-yard fumble return against Cincinnati (10/12). Posted six tackles for loss on the year, including a pair against TCU (11/9). Shared his only sack of the year against Houston (9/7) to go with six tackles.
2001: Played in all 12 games, starting nine at linebacker. Finished fourth on the team in tackles with 67 (53 solo). Also added six tackles for loss. Seventy-two percent of his tackles (48) came in the final six games as he averaged 8.0 stops per game in that stretch. Tallied a career-high 10 tackles (seven solo), while forcing and recovering a fumble against TCU (10/13) to earn C-USA Defensive Player of the Week honors. Had his first career sack against East Carolina (9/8). Collected nine tackles (seven solo) in the final game of the year against Southern Miss (11/17). Credited with eight tackles (seven solo) and two tackles for loss against Army (10/27).
2000: Played in all 11 games, including starting the final game of the year against Memphis (11/18). Also a member of several special teams units. Recorded 16 tackles (eight unassisted) on the year. Collected a fumble recovery against Southern Miss (10/14). Had a season-best six tackles (four solo) against Memphis (11/18).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Wheeler High School, where he lettered in football and track. Earned Prep Star All-America honors as a senior. Selected as an Athlon 'Blue Chip Athlete' at safety. Voted to the Cobb County 'Super 11' and one of the 'Top 75 Prospects in Georgia' by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Also collected all-metro and all-city accolades. Coached by Mike Donnalley.
