1999: Saw action in all 11 games, starting three. Caught 11 passes on the season for 126 yards. Had season-highs of two catches in four games. Had a season-best 48 receiving yards against Houston (11/6). Returned five kicks for a 20.2 yard average. Totaled 215 all-purpose yards. Also competed for the Green Wave track team.
1998: Played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman. Caught four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. Snared two passes for 40 yards against UL-Lafayette (10/31), including his first career touchdown reception. Also scored on a 29-yard reverse against Lafayette and finished the season with 21 yards rushing on two carries.
1997: Redshirted the season. Fractured his ankle on the first day of full-squad workouts in August and was not fully healthy until midseason.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of John Ehret High School in Marrero, La. A two-time all-metro New Orleans selection as an option quarterback. Rated one of top 50 recruits in Conference USA by Athlon. Tabbed as one of the top 25 players in the state by SuperPrep. Had 2,195 yards of total offense (1,314 passing, 881 rushing) as a senior. Broke a 99-yard touchdown run against Bonnabel. Tallied 837 rushing yards and 1,161 passing yards as a junior. Member of Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students. Coached by Billy North.
PERSONAL: Zander Harry Robinson. Born February 8, 1979 in New Orleans. The son of Doris and Norman Robinson. His older brother, Allen Zeno, played football at Southern University. Majoring in sociology.
