Prep: A three-time letterwinner in track and a three-time letterwinner in cross country at New Braunsfels High in New Braunsfels, Texas...competed in the 400 meter run, the 800 meter run and the 1600 meter...competed in the 5K during the cross country season...posted a personal best 4:19.46 in the 1600 meter run - a school record - at the Texas Relays in March 2013...notched a personal best 16:25 in the 5K during his senior year...earned All-City and All-District honors during his senior year.
