As a Freshman (2024-25): Played in 30 games with one start as a freshman… Scored 149 points with 104 rebounds, 54 assists, and 16 steals… Named to the AAC All-Freshman Team… Scored first collegiate points at LSU (11/20) with six, adding seven boards… Reached double-digits for first time with 10 points against Florida (11/28) … Made first start at Florida Atlantic (12/29), scoring 16 points with six boards and five assists… Followed with nine points against Rice (1/1), eight at Charlotte (1/4), and nine against North Texas (1/8) … Against Temple (2/15), scored a career-best 15 points with four rebounds and four assists… Had nine points at UAB (3/4).
Prior to Tulane: Attended Woodgrove High School.... As a senior, Shores helped lead her team to the first women’s basketball state championship in school history.... She was first player in school history to ever be named First Team All-Met by the Washington Post after averaging 18 points per game....She also was First Team VHSL All-State, First Team All-CATOCTIN District, First Team All-Region 4C, a McDonalds All-American Nominee...In her final season at Woodbury, she totaled 553 points to rank second in the region....She also totaled 238 rebounds and 164 assists..Both totals were first in the region...She completed her high school career with a school record 1,475 points...As a junior she played for Paul VI and was named All-Nova Junior Girls Team Private School after averaging 5.3 assists and 8.3 rebounds per game..She aided PVI to the 2023 State Championship... As a sophomore in 2021-22, she earned All-Nova Sophomore Girls Team honors and All-Potomac District Team distinction while also taking home First Team All-State Team honors and was named the Player of the Year recognition for the district.
