Andie Malloy joined the Tulane beach volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2023 spring season.
Malloy comes to New Orleans following an international professional career in indoor volleyball. She played most recently in Hungary as well as Spain, Finland, and Germany.
Prior to her professional career, Malloy played collegiately at Nebraska, Baylor and Iowa State. She competed for one season in indoor and beach volleyball at Nebraska under Head Coach Tyler Hildebrand while obtaining her masters. In her lone season with the Cornhuskers, Malloy helped the Nebraska indoor volleyball team win the Big 10 and reach the Final Four in 2016.
During her time at Baylor, she competed on the indoor volleyball team for three seasons after transferring from Iowa State. Malloy earned All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2014 and 2015. She also garnered AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention selection in 2014 and 2015.
Malloy also played with USA Volleyball's 12-player roster for the 2015 World University Games in South Korea.
Before competing at the collegiate level, Malloy played indoor volleyball at Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas, where she helped lead the program to four 3A state titles and four district championships.
Malloy's earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Baylor University in 2016 and her master's degree in applied science with a minor in merchandising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017.
