Fall 2003: Won three straight matches at the Green Wave Classic as part of a 3-1 showing during the individual tournament portion of the schedule.Spring 2003: Saw action in a pair of matches, posting a 1-1 singles record... Picked the first win of her collegiate career with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 win over Southern Louisiana[apos]s Justine Vosloo... Was also 2-0 in doubles play with partner Karen Duchin and 0-1 in doubles with Mariana Sarmiento.
Fall 2002: Played in just one match during the fall tournament season, dropping a three-set decision to Texas[apos] Leigh Tucker at the Green Wave Classic.
Prep: Helped lead American Heritage School of Boca/Delray to the state championship as a senior... Played for coach Brian Schleifer... Won both the district and regional titles at No. 5 singles her senior season... Was named American Heritage[apos]s Most Improved Player in 2002... Was the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player in 2001... Reached the state semifinals at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles as a junior... Named All-County by the Sun-Sentinel her junior year... A member of the Key Club... Named to the Headmaster[apos]s List.
Personal: Kori Beth Ounjian was born May 21, 1984 in Philadelphia, Pa... The daughter of George and Marilyn Ounjian... Has one sister, Jennifer, and a brother, Jonathan, who plays tennis at Boston College.
