Patrick Hopewell was hired by Tulane Athletics in January of 2013 and currently serves as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
His primary sports are men’s and women’s tennis, women’s golf, and he assists with football. He began his tenure with the Green Wave as an intern and transitioned into a graduate assistant role before becoming a full-time staff member.
Hopewell received his master's degree in liberal arts from Tulane in 2015 and graduated from Westfield State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2012. He previously served as a strength and conditioning intern at Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012-2013, as well as Springfield College in 2011-2012.
Patrick is a certified strength and conditioning coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), holds a level 2 certification from Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and is first aid and CPR/AED certified.
