High School: Four-year letterwinner at Lewis Palmer High for coaches Don Lash and Susan Odenbaugh...helped the Rangers go a combined 114-14 with four trips to the state Final Four, including runner-up finishes as a freshman and state titles as a sophomore and junior...led Lewis Palmer to four consecutive district titles and Metro League championships her final three prep seasons...as a senior, posted 295 kills, 210 digs, 54 aces and 105 blocks en route to earning team MVP and best offensive player honors...named MVP of state tournament as a junior and named 'Best of the Best' among outside hitters by the Rocky Mountain News...off the court, was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was named to Academic All-State team as a sophomore and junior.
Club: Played four years for Colorado Juniors where she helped the team finish 11th, 23rd and 17th in the age divisions of the Junior Nationals in 2000-02, respectively...in 2001, helped Colorado Juniors finish fifth at Tampa Qualifier and third in the Austin Qualifier...in 2002, helped the club finish as the No. 1 16s Team in the state.
Personal: Born Angela Marie Wiggins on Dec. 22, 1985 in Colorado Springs, Colo...daughter of Greg and Sally Wiggins...has one sister, Amanda, who will be a junior on the volleyball team at Northern Colorado in 2004...mother, the former Sally Kirkegaard, was a multiple-sport student-athlete at Dakota State College and was inducted into the school[apos]s Hall of Fame in 1996...chose Tulane over Charlotte, East Carolina, Gonzaga, Montana, Northern Colorado, Portland and Winthrop...proposed major is media arts.
