2023 Mississippi State: In her freshman debut at Mississippi State, Ashley played in 3 matches and four sets. She earned a SEC collegiate debut against Tennessee and registered 2 kills against LSU on October 1^st.

High School: Ashley joins Tulane from Buford, Georgia where she attended Buford High School. She garnered a highly decorated high school career that included four time All-State and All-Region honors and leading her team to three state championship titles from 2020-2022. Ashley was named Georgia Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year in 2022 and Max Preps Player of the Year. She finished her career with 1,368 kills and 1,027 digs.

Personal: Ashley is the daughter of Catalin and Corina Sturzoiu. She has one brother, Tyler, who played volleyball at Cumberland University. She plans to earn her undergraduate degree in psychology.
