Kathryn "Kat" Raschilla joins the Green Wave as an assistant coach in 2026 after spending two seasons with Coach Schroeder at Jacksonville State. She most recently served as the assistant coach for the Gamecocks during the 2025 season after spending the 2024 campaign as a graduate assistant on Schroeder’s staff.

While on staff at Jacksonville State Raschilla helped the Gamecocks increase their win total each season including doubling their total from the previous year in her first season. She was also instrumental in helping coach CUSA All-Conference Second Team honoree, Kayla Williams.

Prior to starting her coaching career at Jacksonville State, Raschilla played collegiately at the University of Louisiana-Monroe from 2019-2022. She appeared in 103 matches and started 36 of them during her career with the Warhawks. In her four seasons at ULM, she tallied 371 kills on 1.30 kills per set.

Raschilla finished her career at Edinboro University where she appeared in 26 matches and 91 sets. In her lone season at Edinboro, she recorded 152 kills, 34 digs, 34 total blocks, and 173 points.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Raschilla is a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School where she was a member of Sigma Alpha Theta and the Spanish National Honor Society. She also played for the Southern Performance Volleyball Club.
