High School: Bruss comes to Tulane from Berkeley, California, where she was a four-year letterwinner at Berkeley High School and played club for Absolute Volleyball in San Rafael. The middle/outside hitter led the Yellowjackets as the team captain during her junior and senior years, helping her team to a second-place league finish and second-round state playoff appearance in her final season. Bruss earned Second Team All-Conference honors in her freshman, sophomore and junior years and was also selected to the First Team and received All-League MVP and team MVP accolades in her senior year.
Personal: As a scholar athlete all four years at Berkeley High School, Bruss finished with an overall GPA of 3.9. Majoring in design...Daughter of Adam Bruss and Michelle Lemieux, step-daughter of Melissa Browning.
