Wondu Summa transferred and competed at Tulane during the 2024-25 season as member of the cross country program. He transitioned to the graduate assistant position with the program starting in the fall of 2025.
He competed in seven meets for the Green Wave and was part of the Tulane men's team that won the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship and competed at the 2024 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship.
