
Tulane Volleyball Falls To UAB

NEW ORLEANS - Despite a match high 16 kills posted by Tulane's (11-16, 3-12) Kim Sentmore, the Green Wave dropped a 3-0 decision to UAB (9-19, 2-13 C-USA) on Friday, 15-7, 15-13, 17-15.
Tulane couldn't establish a rhythm as they were out hit and out blocked by the Blazers. UAB hit .313 during the match and recorded 14 blocks to Tulane's eight.
Sentmore posted the only double-double in the match as she recorded 16 kills and 19 digs. Lacey Vicknair put down 15 kills and hit .265 for the Wave.
For UAB a pair of players posted 15 kills each. Kristen Pettey added eight digs to her 15 kills, while Dina Katsoulis added seven digs. Katrina Gunsorek had a match high four blocks.
Tulane plays its last home match of the 1999 season on Sunday against Memphis. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
