HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Kim Young scored 22 points and made four of five 3-pointers to lead Southern Mississippi over No. 18 Tulane 78-72 Sunday.
Angela Atterberry, playing in her final home game, scored 15 points and had four assists for the Lady Eagles.
Angela Johnson also had 15 points and Dana Jones added 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Southern Miss (16-11, 10-6 Conference USA) built a 34-30 halftime lead despite turning over the ball 12 times in the half. After adjustments at the half, the Lady Eagles turned the ball over only four times.
Tulane (23-4, 12-4) was led by Grace Daley, who scored 27 points and had eight rebounds. Janelle Burse also had 13 points for the Lady Wave.
