Women's Tennis Seeded Third in C-USA Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, La. - - The Tulane women's tennis team has earned the No. 3 seed at the upcoming Conference USA Women's Tennis Championships to be held in Tampa, Fla.

Tulane, ranked 48th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association polls, will face No. 6 seed DePaul on Friday. The Blue Demons posted a 5-2 win over No. 11 seed Saint Louis in the first round on Thursday.

Last season, Tulane entered the Tournament as the No. 1 seed, but lost to South Florida in the semifinals. The Wave went on to finish third before advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
