Vasiljevic Wins Second Round Match at ULL

LAFAYETTE, La. - Tulane University junior Goran Vasiljevic (Varmo, Switzerland) won his second round match at the Ragin' Cajun Men's Tennis Classic on Friday at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Vasiljevic had a first round bye in the "B" Draw and defeated Benjamin Ncube from Southern, 6-1, 7-5.
Senior Jorge Lievano (Bucaramanga, Columbia), playing in the "A" Draw, defeated David Corrie, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4, from UT-Arlington in the opening round. However, he was upended by Cory Ross from LSU, 6-0, 3-6, 3-6.
Vasiljevic and Lievano were scheduled to compete in doubles as well, however, they withdrew due to back spasms by Lievano.
Vasiljevic will be in action in third-round action on Saturday at 8 a.m.
