LAFAYETTE, La. - Tulane University junior Goran Vasiljevic (Varmo, Switzerland) was defeated in the third round of the "B" Draw of the Ragin' Cajun Men's Tennis Classic on Saturday at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Vasiljevic had a first round bye in the "B" Draw and defeated Benjamin Ncube from Southern, 6-1, 7-5, in the second round. However, on Saturday morning, the Wave junior fell, 3-6, 3-6, to Ian Vazquez from UT-Arlington.
The match was the final match of the fall slate for the Tulane men's tennis program.
The Green Wave will open its spring campaign at the Ice Volleys in Minneapolis, beginning Jan. 25 against SMU.
