Tulane Invitational Track Meet is this Saturday

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane University will host nine schools for the Tulane Invitational Track Meet this weekend at the George G. "Sunny" Westfeldt, Jr. Practice and Competition Facility. It will be the first official meet at the newly-renovated facility.
Action begins on Friday evening at 6 p.m. with three field events. The discus throw, pole vault and long jump will all be contested at that time. Women's competitors go first, followed by the men.
Field events begin Saturday at 10 a.m. and running events open at 12:30 p.m.
In addition to the Tulane men's and women's teams, Memphis, UNO, Southern Miss, Nicholls State, McNeese State, Iowa (women only), UL-Lafayette, Xavier (Ohio) and Hinds College (men only) will have full teams in action. Other schools, including LSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Xavier (N.O.) and Loyola will have individuals competing.
Results will be available at TulaneGreenWave.com by approximately 6 p.m. Saturday.
