
Green Wave Track in Action at Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Tulane University women's outdoor track team opened action at the 60th Annual Coca-Cola Florida Relays on Friday.
Freshman Lindsey Karlik, who already holds the school's indoor record in the pole vault, set the outdoor record in the first outdoor meet of her career. She cleared 11 feet, four and a quarter inches.
Sophomore Moji Alade had a personal-best effort in the discus with a throw of 141 feet, three inches.
The top relay effort for the Green Wave came in the 4x1500 as Tulane's team of Lisa Green, Carlyne Pradieu, Eva Lustigova and Birka Wicke placed fourth with a time of 19:20.40.
Action continues at the event on Saturday with Tulane highlights including Tulane record-holder Jelena Jurlina in the discus and four relay teams.
