AS A JUNIOR (2004-05)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete. INDOOR: Competed in three meets, clearing 10 feet even in the pole vault at all three.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2003-04)
OUTDOOR: Redshirted the season. INDOOR: Only competed in two meets. Posted her top vault of 11-01.75 at the LSU Twilight Invitational (2/20). Placed 12th at the C-USA Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN (2002-03)
OUTDOOR: Posted a career-best pole vault of 11 feet, four and a quarter inches to set the Tulane outdoor record at the Florida Relays (3/28). That vault was the top mark in the state and earned her All-Louisiana recognition. Narrowly missed scoring at the C-USA Championships (5/16) with a vault of 10 feet, six and a quarter inches. INDOOR: Set a Tulane record in the pole vault at the Purple Tiger Invitational (1/25) in her first collegiate meet. Posted her career-best vault of 11 feet, nine and three-quarters inches at the LSU Twilight Invitational (2/21), setting an LSU Field House record. Earned a third-place finish at the C-USA Championships (2/28) with a height of 11 feet, seven and three-quarters inches.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2002 graduate of Cody High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner with the track program. The Wyoming state champion as a junior and as a senior. Placed second in the pole vault as a sophomore. Holds the state pole vault record of 11 feet, six inches. A two-time all-state selection and two-time team MVP.

Full name is Lindsey Faye Karlik. Born May 2, 1984 in Cody, Wyoming. The daughter of Debbie Latimer and Wayne Karlik. Majoring in psychology.
