NEW ORLEANS, La. - While the Tulane baseball team has reached unprecedented levels of success in 2005, it is no coincidence that the Green Wave has had unprecedented fan support as well.
Tulane, which is ranked No. 1 in the nation and is also the top seed in the College World Series which begins this weekend, set its all-time attendance record by drawing 145.084 fans to its home games. As a comparison, the Wave averaged 3,720 fans at its home games, while in road games, the average attendance was 1,631 fans.
To see some of the examples of the fan support and to get a taste of the spirit of Tulane baseball, visit the following website to watch three short movies about the Green Wave's top-ranked team. University President Scott Cowen highlighted the films in a special "Tulane Talk" email, which is sent to everyone within the Tulane University community.
