
Tulane Track & Field Opens LSU Relays Friday

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane track & field team heads to Baton Rouge for the LSU Relays, with 11 entrants in the event. Action gets underway at 3:00 p.m. with the 4x100 relay.
Junior Katarina Busljeta will compete in the hammer throw, while freshman Zandria Debowles takes on the field in the 400-meter hurdles. Tulane has three entrants for the long jump - Arielle Minor, Raquelle Collins and Brree Carter - and another trio in the javelin - Minor, Kelly Curtis and Ana Ruzevic.
The Green Wave will also submit an entry in the 1600-meter sprint medley.
Akron, Alcorn State, Arkansas State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Baylor, Furman, Grambling, McNeese State, Memphis, Mississippi Valley State, Northwestern State, South Alabama, Southern, TCU, UL-Lafayette and host LSU will have men's and women's teams competing, while the Loyola and Connecticut men's teams will be in action.
