Cole-Lancon Twilight Awaits Tulane Track & Field Thursday

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane track and field team heads to the Cole-Lancon Twilight Thursday in Lafayette. The Green Wave will have 16 athletes in 12 events on Thursday.
At 6 p.m., Rebecca Coady will be the first Green Wave athlete to perform as the 2000-meter steeple chase begins starts the event. Tulane will have six entries in the 1500 meter run, as Keriann Langley, Johanna Gretschel, Peggy Keplinger, Caitlin Hornbeck, Elizabeth Piazza and Jessica Barker make up nearly half the entry list. On the men's side, Brian Lozes is the lone Green Wave entry in the 1500.
Shaina Pelham is the second seed in the women's 400-meter dash, while the Green Wave put up Koplan Nwabuoku in the men's 400.
The top two seeds in the women's 100 meter are Tulane's Olivia Kizzee and Kasey Rodgers, while the 7:30 p.m. men's 100 features Jared Firestone and Andrew Chan. Firestone will also tackle the 200-meter dash later in the evening.
Jordon Holtzman and Kevin Mitchell take on the 800 meter field at 7:40, while Zandria Debowles is the top seed in the women's 400-meter hurdles at 7:50.
Kizzee is seeded first in the 200-meter, with Rodgers as the six seed in the 8:05 p.m. dash.
The meet will wrap with the 3000-meter run with Tulane's Brian Lozes as the third seed.
