NEW ORLEANS - Tulane junior Olivia Kizzee begins the The 88th Annual NCAA Men's and Women's Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday, taking part in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.
Kizzee will run the preliminary round of the 100-meter on Wednesday, at 6 p.m., while the 200-meter takes place on Thursday at 6:10 p.m. Should she advance to the finals, the 100 takes place Friday at 7:35 p.m., with the 200-meter final on Saturday at 12:35.
Kizzee posted a career best in the 100-meter at Conference USA, a provisional qualifying time of 11.46. The NCAA field consists of 26 entrants in the 100-meter, with Kizzee's time being the 23rd best personal best this season.
In Louisville at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship, she turned in a time of 23.49 in the 200-meter, which was an automatic qualifying time. She will be seeded 22nd in the 28-athlete field.
