Women’s Tennis Foursome to Compete in Roberta Alison Fall Classic

Klier, Sisti, Atkinson and Kurtz to represent the Green Wave
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Tulane women's tennis team is set to compete in another fall staple of theirs this weekend when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the 29th annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic, hosted by the Alabama Crimson Tide. There are 17 teams that are set to compete in the two-day, multiple-draw event, as Sade Atkinson, Kyla Klier, Sofia Kurtz and Christina Sisti will all represent the Green Wave.
Both Atkinson (5-3) and Sisti (6-2) have produced stellar fall campaigns, leading the Wave with a combined 11 singles wins. Most recently Atkinson reached the Round of 16 at ITA Southern Regionals after knocking off No. 51 Natalie Suk of Ole Miss.
The Roberta Alison Fall Classic will commence on Friday with the first round of doubles at 9 a.m., followed immediately by the first two rounds of singles with a lunch break in-between. Saturday's slate will then begin with the final two rounds of doubles starting at 9 a.m., with the final round of singles set for early afternoon.
