NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's basketball team will play three of its next four games on the road, beginning with an American Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at Houston. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. in Hofheinz Pavilion.

• The Green Wave and Cougars will face off twice over a 15-day period with the second matchup set for Feb. 8 in New Orleans.
• Redshirt junior Cameron Reynolds ranks fifth in The American in three-point field goals made (43), and scoring (15.8), seventh in three-point field goal percentage (.387), eighth in minutes (34.3) and 11th in free throw percentage (.763).
• Sophomore Kain Harris is third in the conference in free throw percentage (.848) and 11th in three-point field goal percentage (.376).
• Sophomore Melvin Frazier is fourth in the league in steals per game (1.6) and senior Ryan Smith is sixth in field goal percentage (.529) and eighth in blocks per game (1.4).

The Opponent:
• Houston (13-7, 4-4 AAC) enters Tuesday's matchup on a three-game losing streak and has dropped four of its last five contests, including an 85-64 road decision at SMU in its most recent outing.
• The Cougars are 7-3 on their home court this season, but just 1-2 in conference tilts. They rank first in the conference in turnover margin (+3.9), second in three-point field goal percentage (.395) and free throw percentage (.718), third in scoring (74.8) and scoring margin (+10.5) and fourth in field goal percentage (.459).
• Individually, sophomore Rob Gray ranks first in The American in scoring at 20.6 points per game, while freshman Galen Robinson stands second in assists per game (4.8). Damyean Dotson leads the league in three-point field goal percentage (.467) and has made the second-most shots beyond the arc (63) this season.

The Series:
• Tuesday's matchup marks the 37th all-time meeting between the programs, as Houston leads the series, 19-17, and have won four of the last five bouts. Tulane's last win in Houston came on Jan. 17, 2015 in a 68-65 triumph.
• The Green Wave topped the Cougars, 72-69, in their last matchup on March 11, 2016, which came in the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference Championship at the Amway Center in Orlando. Houston swept the regular-season series last year with a 63-45 road win, followed by an 82-69 home victory.

Last Time Out:
• Cameron Reynolds scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half, but Tulane suffered a 78-61 home loss to 20th-ranked Cincinnati (17-2, 7-0 AAC) on Saturday evening.
• Reynolds shot 8-for-12 overall, including a perfect 7-for-7 in the second half, while Ryan Smith added 15 points and Melvin Frazier chipped in 11 more as Tulane shot a season-high 16-for-27 (.593) over the final 20 minutes.
