ORACLE/ITA TEAM RANKINGS
NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis team made the third biggest jump in this week's Oracle/ITA updated team national rankings, checking at No. 36. The top-40 ranking marks their highest spot in the polls in the post-Katrina era.
Â
The Green Wave are off to one of their best starts with a 13-4 record, already sitting just seven wins shy of what would be the most victories under nine-year head coach Terri Sisk.
Â
Highlights of the first half of the spring season include a 2-0 start against conference opponents with wins over Houston and South Florida, and the program's first top-30 win in the post-Katrina era with a 4-3 victory over No. 28 LSU.
Â
The No. 36 Green Wave will look to build upon its new national ranking this weekend when they challenge UAB on the road on Sunday, March 5, at Noon CT.
