The Green Wave had an early start on Saturday, opening up day two in South Carolina with an 8:00 a.m. match-up against Lincoln Memorial, the first-ever meeting between the two teams. Tulane came away with sweeps on four of five courts en route to its eighth sweep of the season.
No.5 pair of Sarah Strasner and Christina McAfee dropped the first set of the day 20-22, but it would be the only set the Green Wave lost as the duo bounced back to even the match on a quick score of 21-11. Strasner and McAfee then claimed Tulane's first match win of the day with a 15-8 decision in set three.
Court four also played to Tulane's favor, as Tarin Mergener and Annie Shurtz teamed up to complete the Wave's first sweep of the morning on scores of 21-15 and 22-20. Briana Correa and Hannah Holmes limited their opponents' scoring even more on court three, holding LMU to scores of 21-10 and 21-8 to claim the dual for the Green Wave.
Tea Juric and Kaylie McHugh extended their winning streak to five, moving to 16-2 on the year in the No. 2 position as they defeated the Railsplitters in straight sets on scores of 21-10 and 21-9.
Madeline Mertz and Lan Nguyen closed out the match on court one, wrapping up Tulane's first sweep of the morning in straight sets.

The Green Wave pulled off back-to-back sweeps for the XX time this year in the second dual of the day, adding a conference win to their resume in a 5-0 decision over UNC-Wilmington to close out the College of Charleston Beach Classic.
Similar to the first dual of the day, Tulane pulled off match sweeps on all but one court, starting in the fifth flight with Strasner in McAfee, who notched a pair of 21-13 decisions to give the Wave their first win over the Seahawks.
Mergener and Shurtz took their first set on court four on a close score of 21-19 and kept the momentum rolling to defeat UNCW 21-8 in the second to give Tulane a 2-0 lead in the dual.
Correa and Holmes fought to clinch the dual for the Green Wave on court three, defeating UNCW pair of Maddy Kline and Raquel Rooney 21-17 in the first set but falling 16-21 in the second. The Tulane duo pulled of a nail-biting 15-13 victory in the deciding set for the 3-0 lead.
McHugh and Juric made quick work of the Seahawks, sealing their second win of the day on court two scores of 21-14 and 21-13. The final match of the day was a dramatic one, with Mertz and Nguyen clawing out a 28-26 victory over Tanna Aljoe and Nicole Lott in their first set. Up 1-0, Tulane's No. 1 pair completed the 5-0 sweep of the Seahawks on a quicker set-two score of 21-16.
