Green Wave to end six-match road swing
NEW ORLEANS – The No. 42 Tulane women's tennis team (14-4) will complete a six-match road swing on Friday when they travel to University of Texas-San Antonio for a 3 p.m. CT match-up. The nationally ranked Green Wave will be looking for their fourth straight win. Â

IN THE RANKINGS
Despite a 2-0 week which saw the Olive and Blue defeat both Southern Miss and UAB, the Wave slid six spots to No. 42 in the team rankings. However, in doubles, the pairing of Naz Karagoz and Elena Muller achieved their first career ranking, checking in at the No. 76 spot. The duo are 9-6 this spring with two wins over top-45 opponents. BACK-BONE OF THE LINE-UP
The bottom half of Tulane's singles line-up has arguably been the strong point of the team this year, as courts 4-6 have compiled 31 total dual victories. Muller (11-2) and Christina Sisti (11-4) co-lead the squad in wins while Ivone Alvaro follows right behind with a 9-5 record.
Â
DOUBLE TIME
Tulane has won the doubles point in 14 of its 18 matches. Furthermore, the Wave's team record is 12-2 when claiming the doubles point.

SCOUTING UTSA
UTSA enters the weekend with a 6-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark at home. The Roadrunners started March with back-to-back losses to Air Force and UMKC, but bounced back with a 4-3 win over Idaho State. UTSA boasts one ranked singles player in No. 103 Miriam Rosell Canudas, who is unblemished at 12-0 at the No. 1 position.

AROUND THE CORNER
After clashing with UTSA Friday, the Wave return home for three straight matches, including a conference showdown with UCF on Monday, March 13, at Noon CT, at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center.
