Tulane Women’s Golf Sits in 15th Place at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Tulane University women's golf team wrapped up day two competition at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational on Saturday and currently sit in 15th place.
The three-day event is being held at the par 72, 6,379-yard UNC Finley Golf Course.
The Green Wave fired a team score of 305 during round two and own a two-day score of 606.
Senior Laura Munoz led the way for the Green Wave on day two, as she carded a score of one under par, 71. Munoz is tied for 20th with a score of 145 through two rounds and leads all Tulane individuals.
"Laura really had a great round today," head coach Lorne Don said. "She was really steady all day. As a team, we need to finish strong tomorrow to pass a few of the teams in front of us."
Junior Haydyn Gibson is the next Tulane individual on the leaderboard, as she is currently tied for 32nd following round two score of four over par, 75. Gibson holds a two-day total of 147.
Rounding out the Tulane lineup is junior Gabrielle Correia, sophomore Jennifer Rosenberg and freshman Isabella Cardenas, as they are tied for 82nd, tied for 86th and 95th, respectively.
Duke holds a two-day total of 15-under-par, 561 and leads all teams heading into the final round of play. Wake Forest's Emilia Migliaccio leads all individuals with a two-round total of nine under par 135.
