Men's Tennis Sweeps Michigan State, Alcorn State in Tripleheader

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane men's tennis team broke a two-match skid with a perfect sweep of all three matches in a home tripleheader, including a 7-0 win over Michigan State, followed by 7-0 and 6-0 shutout against Alcorn State on Friday at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center.
Tulane (9-5) posted a perfect 5-0 doubles record and 20-0 singles mark without dropping a single set in any of the three contests.

The Green Wave got the day started with a quick doubles point victory against the Spartans, including a 6-0 shutout by Tyler Schick and Luis Erlenbusch from No. 3 position in the lineup, followed by a 6-2 win by Constantin Schmitz and Ewan Moore at the No. 1 spot to give the Wave an early 1-0 lead.
In singles, Tulane topped Michigan State in straight sets on all six courts to clinch the unblemished shutout.
