
Rosenberg Leads the Green Wave in Second Round at the White Sands Open

NASSAU, Bahamas – The Tulane University women's golf team closed the second day of the White Sands Invitational in 12th with a team score of 18-over 594.
Junior Jennifer Rosenberg led the way in the second round for the Green Wave with a score of one-under 71. She logged three birdies during the round. Rosenberg is currently tied for 44th overall with a total score of five-over 149.
"It was a total team effort today with everyone playing their part in the team score," Green Wave head coach Stew Burke said. "We got off to a poor start but battled back well to finish out the day. Jenny [Rosenberg] put up a good under par round and I'm hoping we can have a couple more like it tomorrow."
Senior Haydyn Gibson shot two-over 74 in the second round. She registered three birdies on the day. Gibson sits tied for 22nd with a total score of two-over 146.
Sophomore Hanna Liu posted a score of three-over 75 in the second round. She recorded two birdies on the day. Liu is tied for 44th with a total score of five-over 149 going into the final round.
Freshman Carlota Palacios finished the day tied for 55th overall after shooting three-over 75 in both the first and second rounds. She had two birdies in the second round.
Senior Gabrielle Correia rounded out the Green Wave lineup with a second round score of three-over 75. She logged two birdies in the second round. Correia is tied for 71st with a total score of 154.
No. 3 Texas leads all teams with a total score of 22-over 554. The Longhorns also have the leader individually with Sophie Guo at 11-under 133.
