
Freeman Named to American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Krystal Freeman of the Tulane University women's basketball team was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced today.
Freeman logged her fifth double-double in six games with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the 56-40 win over Georgia Southern on Monday, Dec. 30. She also added four blocks, three assists and two steals against the Eagles.
The Pineville, La. native ranks 11th in the American Athletic Conference in rebounds per game at 7.6. She is sixth in the conference in field goal percentage at 44.4 percent.
The Green Wave will be back in action on Sunday, Jan. 5, as they travel to take on Wichita State in their conference opener. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
