
Tulane Sailing Heads Back on the Road, Competes at Charleston

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane sailing team heads back on the road after a weekend of team racing at home, competing in the Phebe Corkran King Women's Regatta at the College of Charleston on Saturday and Sunday.
The team will match up against 11 teams in the interconference competition, including host Charleston, Davidson, Eckerd, George Washington, Georgetown, Jacksonville, Old Dominion, Stanford, Navy, Berkley and Michigan.
The Green Wave hosted Charleston, Stanford and Jacksonville in their first home regatta of the spring season last weekend, with the teams taking the first, second and third place spots, respectively.
Tulane will send two teams to participate in the respective A and B Division races, sailing a total of 12 fleet-style races in the regatta, weather permitting.
