NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming and diving team is set to hit the road this weekend to compete in its final meet before the American Athletic Conference Championships, facing SMU on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Robson and Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium.
In their last time out, the Green Wave earned a 227-72 win at home over West Florida, winning 14 of the 16 events to secure the team's third victory of the season.
Tulane took an early lead in winning the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay before recording 12 individual first place results to keep the team on top.
SMU lost close competitions to Arkansas and Rice in their last dual-meet in January, with the team's most recent win having come at home against Loyola-New Orleans.
