NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's golf team takes the course for the second straight week, as it travels to Sunset, South Carolina, to compete in the fourth annual Clemson Invitational.
The three-day tournament will be held at The Reserve at Lake Keowee (par 72, 6260-yards).
This year's tournament once again features a talented field as the Green Wave will face teams from No. 14 Auburn, No. 54 Augusta, No. 34 Clemson, No. 5 Florida State,No. 31 Illinois, No. 55 Indiana, No. 69 Kansas, No. 63 Kentucky, No. 53 LSU, No. 18 Michigan State, No. 28 Purdue, No. 44 Tennessee, No. 58 Texas A&M, No. 7 Vanderbilt, No. 17 Virginia, No. 48 Virginia Tech and No. 94 UNC Wilmington (rankings based on Golfstat.com).
Tulane will tee off at 9:09 a.m. (CT) on hole No. 10.
The lineup for the Green Wave will include junior Haydyn Gibson at No. 1, sophomore Jennifer Rosenberg at No. 2, senior Sofia Goicoecheaat No. 3, senior Laura Munoz at No. 4 and junior Gabrielle Correia at No. 5.
The Green Wave returns to action after the team took a trip up I-10 last weekend where they competed in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic.
Gibson highlighted competition for the Green Wave as she tied for 18th with a three-round score of 231. Rosenberg was the next Tulane finisher as she tied for 24th with a tournament total of 232.
Rosenberg leads all Tulane individuals with five rounds under par this season and owns a team-best scoring average of 75.19.
