
Cross Country to Compete in Nicholls Invitational Saturday

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane cross country team is back in action this weekend, heading to Thibodaux, Louisiana on Saturday to compete in its second race of the season in the Nicholls Cross Country Invitational.
The women's 5K kicks off at 8 a.m., with the men's four-mile race set to begin shortly after, at 8:30 a.m. at Nicholls Farm.
Tulane will race against host Nicholls State, LSU, Southern University and New Orleans in the meet.
Both the men's and women's teams finished first in the 2018 Nicholls Invitational, with McKenzie Melius and Carlos Zervigon each winning their respective races.
The Green Wave had a successful start to this season at UNO, with the women's team winning the meet while the men's team recorded first-, second- and third-place finishes to round out a great team performance.
