
Tulane Swimming & Diving Travels to Houston for AAC Matchup

NEW ORLEANS — The Tulane swimming & diving team (1-2) is headed back on the road this week for the team's first meet of 2021 as the Green Wave head to Houston, Texas to take on the Cougars on Monday.
Action begins at 2 p.m. inside the CRWC Natatorium in the American Athletic Conference matchup. Fans will not be permitted to attend the meet but will be able to live stream the event on the Houston Cougar Swimming & Diving Facebook page.
The Olive and Blue opened their season with a win over Delta State (201-42) before falling to Rice (245-146) and LSU (189-110) in their last two meets.
Following the team's most recent meet against the Tigers, senior Kate McDonald was named the AAC's Women's Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 15.
The Evergreen, Colorado native took gold in both the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke events, with a league-best time in the 100 breast (1:01.59) and a season-best time in the 200 breast (2:14.92).
