As a Junior (2022-23): Started off the season with a bang and finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.20 at the dual meet against Vanderbilt and LSU (Sep. 23)... Finished third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.27) in the meet against Rice (Nov. 4)… Was a member of the 200 freestyle team that placed second (1:36.99) at Houston (Nov. 5)... Was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team that placed first (1:37.34) against University of West Florida (Jan. 28)… Achieved two of her career top times in the 50 back and 100 free and a lifetime best in the 50 back at the AAC Championships in Dallas (2/13/23 - 2/18/23).
As a Sophomore (2021-22): Began the season with a podium finish in the 200 backstroke (2:06.22), 200 medley relay (1:47.76) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.62) at Little-Rock (Oct. 8)... Had two second place finishes at West Florida (Oct. 15) in the 400 medley relay (3:40.13) and the 50 freestyle (24.70)... Was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team that placed first (3:30.42) at Vanderbilt (Nov. 6)... Placed first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.42) at SMU (Jan. 15)... Had a career best in both the 100 backstroke (56.11) and the 200 backstroke (2:02.26) at the AAC Championships. (Feb. 18).
As a Freshman (2020-21): Opened her collegiate career with a second-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (56.75) against Delta State (Oct. 17) while also helping the 200-yard freestyle relay team to a first-place finish (1:36.89) and the 200-yard medley relay team to a second-place finish (1:48.18)...Finished second in the 50-yard backstroke (26.36), fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.16), fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (57.24) and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (24.09) at Rice (Nov. 20-21)...Earned a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.58) at Houston while also finishing third in the 100-yard freestyle (52.55) (Jan. 11)...Finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke at the AAC Championship with a career-best time of 56.17, also earning career-best times of 23.79 in the 50-yard freestyle and 2:04.24 in the 200-yard backstroke (2/25-2/27).
Prior to Tulane: Four-year letterwinner on St. Pius X Catholic High School’s swimming team, being named the team’s MVP in 2018, 2019 and 2020…Georgia High School state champion in 2019 (100y backstroke), state runner-up in 2020 (100y freestyle and 100y backstroke)…Holds team records in the 100y backstroke and 100y freestyle…Also competed for Twin Lakes, earning Swimmer of the Year honors in 2010 and 2015 while being a 23-time record-holder.
