
Bowling Heads to New York for the Dezy Strong Tournament

Adelphi All-Access: Dezy Strong
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane bowling will travel to Coram, NY to compete in the Inaugural Dezy Strong Classic hosted by Adelphi University. The tournament will take place at Coram Country Lanes.
The No. 16-ranked Green Wave hosted the Colonial Lanes Classic last weekend and took sixth out of the 12 team tournament. The Olive and Blue recorded a 7-6 clip in the three day tournament. Madison McCall, Amelia Vasquez and Katharina Mente posted the best overall averages for the tournament each knocking down an average of more than 200 pins per game.
The three-day tournament will feature five, five-game Baker matches on Friday starting at 8:40 a.m. followed by five traditional team matches on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. In the final bracket round on Sunday, the teams will participate in three Baker best 4-out-of-7 matches at 8:45 a.m. to determine final team standings, with an awards ceremony scheduled for 12:30 pm.
The All-Tournament Team will be composed of the top 6 individual averages for players that compete in 100% of traditional matches for the weekend. The top individual scorer will be named MVP.
