Tulane Bowling Takes Runner-Up Honors in Final Day of SWIBC Tournament¬

DALLAS – The Tulane University bowling team placed second in the final day of competition at the Southwest Intercollegiate Conference Tournament on Sunday.

The Green Wave finished with 6,658 pins and a team and just missed picking up back-to-back wins to open the year.
Â
Veronica Petrinec led the way for the Tulane, as she totaled a tournament average of 213.71 to place second. Madison McCall continued her strong play this weekend, finishing just two spots behind Petrinec in fourth place. McCall posted an average of 198.14.

Louisiana Tech captured the team title with 6,779 pins.
Â
Sunday's tournament consisted of seven (7) team games.

Tulane returns to action on Oct. 22-24, as it plays host to the Colonial Lanes Classic in New Orleans.
