
Olthoff Named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University redshirt junior pitcher Braden Olthoff was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for the second straight week on Monday.

The California native received the weekly honor after he shut down No. 5-ranked Mississippi State on the road this past Friday.
Â
In his lone outing of the week, Olthoff struck out six batters in 8.0 innings of work while only allowing one run on just two hits en route to his first win of the season.
Â
In two outings this year, Olthoff owns a 1.35 earned run average and is holding opponents to a .216 batting average. He also leads the team with 13.1 innings pitched.

Tulane returns to action on Wednesday for a midweek matchup with Southeastern. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m.
