NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane men's tennis program had three student-athletes selected to the 2021 All-Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Team and collected both Coach and Player of the Year honors, respectively, for the seventh consecutive season.
Head coach and director of tennis Mark Booras continued his record-breaking streak, receiving LSWA Coach of the Year honors for the seventh year in a row, as senior Hamish Stewart garnered Player of the Year recognition for the second straight year. Stewart's recognition extends the Green Wave's streak of claiming top individual honors to eight-consecutive seasons, as Ewan Moore received the honor in 2019 after Constantin Schmitz took home the title in 2017 and 2018. Dominik Koepfer started the run by earning the title in three-straight years (2014-16).
Stewart and fifth-year seniors Moore and Luis Erlenbusch were voted to the All-Louisiana First Team, Moore has now been picked to the first team in all five years of his collegiate career, while Erlenbusch gathers his third-career all-state selection and second first-team nod. Stewart, the 2018 LSWA Freshman of the Year and a second-team choice, also picked up his third all-state honor and second straight first-team selection.
