Men's Tennis Ranks No. 23 in Final ITA Poll of 2021

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane men's tennis team concluded the 2021 season listed No. 23 nationally in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, marking its highest end of season ranking in the post-Katrina era.
After earning its fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and reaching the second round, the Green Wave (15-8) concluded the season ranked in the top 25 for eight straight weeks.
In doubles, the duo of senior Hamish Stewart and fifth-year senior Ewan Moore are listed 23rd nationally in the final standings. The tandem compiled a 13-7 overall record playing and went 6-2 against nationally-ranked opponents. Stewart and Moore were ranked in each of the final seven doubles polls, rising from 77th in their first appearance before reaching as high as 21st for three consecutive weeks.
In singles, Stewart closes out the year at No. 35 in the poll and continued his streak of being listed in the top 50 for the eighth-consecutive installment of the rankings. He reached as high as No. 23 - a personal best - on April 21.
