
Tulane Sitting Pretty After Day One of Weekend Sailing

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Sailing sits in fourth and ninth, respectively, in the Atlantic Coast Championship Round 1 and Danmark Trophy Open Fleet Race. Each completed four races on opening day.
In the Open Fleet Race, the two Tulane teams hold the nine spot. The Green Wave is led by Cameron Giblin alongside Andrea Riefkohl-Gonzalez in A Division and Asher Zittrer with Gillian Perrell racing in B Division.
Meanwhile, in the Women's Fleet Race, the duo of Ciara Rodriguez-Horan and Lydia Brown lead Tulane in the A Division with 51 points. While the pairing of Caroline Benson and Ellie Spearman will race in the B Division has 57 points.
The Wave will look to finish on top in both races when it hits the water again tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
Results from day two will be posted for the Women's ACC Round 1 HERE and the Danmark Trophy Open Fleet Race HERE following each day of racing.
