Green Wave Drops A Match to Memphis

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE — The Tulane University volleyball team (6-12) dropped a three-set match to Memphis (21-25, 21-25, 19-25) on Friday.
The Green Wave offense hit .184 in the match, while the Tigers countered with a .291 clip. Outside Mackenzie Martin led the Wave with 12 kills, hitting .273 overall. The sophomore also landed eight digs, totaling 12 points.
Right-side hitter Melissa Kolurbasi was right behind her with nine kills, nine points, and a .167 hitting percentage. Kolurbasi also claimed five digs in the match.

Libero Jillian Dits controlled the defensive duties with 15 digs, three receptions, and three assists. Senior setter Kate Van Houten moved the ball well, tallying 20 assists and three digs.

The Green Wave posted 39 kills, 35 assists, two aces, 40 digs, three blocks and a 34.9% passing rate.
